The latest developments regarding the U.S. executive order that bans visitors to the United States from seven Muslim-majority countries.
UCLA International Institute, January 30, 2017 — The presidential order signed by the U.S. president on Friday, January 27, 2017, bans entry to the United States to visitors from seven Muslim-majority countries: Iran, Iraq, Libya, Somalia, Sudan, Syria and Yemen. Legal immigrants to the United States from these countries who have a green card and were returning from abroad were also initially barred from entry.

At this time, the UCLA Dashew Center strongly recommends against any travel outside the United States by citizens of these countries, until more is known about the Executive Order.
