This paper considers the interplay between new media technologies and Israel’s occupation of the Palestinian territories (1967-present). Through the study of a diverse body of Israeli actors (state officials, human rights workers, and everyday Israeli social media users) and a variety of new media platforms and practices, the analysis will consider the ways that Israeli militarism is being transformed in digital times.
