UCLA Latin American Institute - Working Group Grants 2017

Open to UCLA faculty and graduate students (with UCLA faculty mentors).

The Latin American Institute (LAI) invites proposals from UCLA faculty and/or graduate students for working groups during the 2017-2018 academic year.

Supported working groups should bring together faculty, visiting scholars, graduate and professional school students, and undergraduates in multidisciplinary scholarly exchange of research-in-progress, culture, and perspectives on current events.

Graduate students are eligible to apply for these grants in consultation with faculty sponsors. As semi-autonomous entities, the groups set their own agendas, symposia, exchange of working papers, or collaborative research efforts. Food and entertainment expenses are not allowed.
