Translating Buddhist Texts: Reflections on Theory and Method

Featuring some of the leading scholars and practitioners of translation in the field of Buddhist studies, this conference brings together presentations about the challenges of translating Asian Buddhist canonical and non-canonical texts into Western languages. Participants will share the latest from a number of major translation projects, including discussions of the role of technology in the work of translation.
