Cyber-warfare was embedded in the World Wide Web with the beginning of the Internet and the wide dissemination of the personal computer. The virtual cyber-space connected with Internet networks has become a battlefield with no available escape. This research focuses on understanding North Korea’s threat of cyber warfare as a means of protection for the successful execution of countries’ national missions and personal safeguards.

인터넷의 태동과 더불어 잉태된 사이버전은 월드와이드웹의 일반화와 개인용 컴퓨터의 보급으로 현실화되었다. 즉, 네트워크가 연결된 사이버 공간은 모두 전장이 되고 있으며 누구도 그 영향의 범주를 벗어날 수는 없게 되었다. 따라서 북한 위협과 세계의 환경 변화를 이해하는 것은 개인의 안전과 국가 안위에 중추적 역할을 수행하는 데 도움이 될 것이다.
