양형기준제도의 의의, 발생배경및황에 대하여 살펴본 후, 대한민국의 양형기준제도와 미국연방 양형기준제도에 대한 비교법적 고찰을 통하여 대한민국 양형기준제도의 나아갈 방향에 대하여 살펴본다.
1970년 출생, 1993년 서울대학교 법과대학 졸업, 1997 제39회 사법고시 합격, 2000년 사법연수원 제29기 수료, 2000년 예비판사 임용, 2002년 판사 임용, 현재 서울중앙지방법원 소속 판사.
