Center for Argentina, Chile and the Southern Cone

The Program on Argentina was formed in 1997 to promote the study of one of the largest countries in Latin America and one that shares many characteristics with the United States: climate and ecology, type of agricultural and pastoral production, a history of European and, more recently, Asian immigration, and a large middle class.
