Thomas Lacroix is a researcher in geography at the CNRS (Centre national de la recherche scientifique). He works on the relationship between transnationalism, integration and development. He works more specifically on Maghreb transnationalism. His research topics include the relationship between migration and development, theories of migration and transnationalism, diasporic memory, ethnic trade, and associational and family transnationalism.
He is currently Associate Researcher at IMI (Oxford), Deputy Coordinator of Migration Studies , a member of the editorial board of e-migrinter and co-director of the Master 1 International Migrations and Societies.
