Justice Eugenio Raúl Zaffaroni is member of the Supreme Court of Justice of Argentina since 2003. Dr. Zaffaroni is Professor and Head of the Department of Criminal Law, Universidad de Buenos Aires, and Vice-president of the Scientific Committee, International Association of Penal Law. His work on the prevention of mass atrocities just won the 2009 Stockholm Prize in Criminology for field research and criminological theory on the causes and prevention of genocide.
