Mexico has long occupied a prominent place in UCLA’s research and teaching activities. Faculty and graduate students have conducted research on Mexico in areas ranging from literature to economics, music, sociology and medicine.
The UCLA Center for Mexican Studies represents an expansion of our former Program on Mexico.The new Center for Mexican Studies will provide enhanced visibility and a permanent structure for research on Mexico. The Center’s focus will be multidisciplinary and will involve faculty and graduate students from across the UCLA campus.
