Eliane Robert Moraes is professor of Brazilian literature at the University of São Paulo (USP) in the Department of Classical and Modern Languages where her research is focused on the intersection between literature and eroticism. Translator of Georges Bataille into Portuguese, she is currently working on Brazilian erotic literature.
