Call for Papers: Special Issue
Call for Papers for Special Issue (Theme: Linguistic Research on Heritage Speakers of Spanish)
The Heritage Language Journal announces a call for submissions for a special issue devoted to the role of linguistic research (psycho-, socio- and applied) on the grammatical competence of Spanish heritage speakers and teaching heritage speakers of Spanish.
Initial proposals are due by October 1, 2009 and should be no more than 1,000 words. Selection of papers will be completed by November 1, 2009.
Solicited manuscripts should be submitted by March 15, 2010 for publication in the Summer of 2010. All manuscripts will undergo external evaluation. If accepted, final papers will be due by June 1, 2010. Papers should be sent to the guest editor for this issue, Silvina Montrul, by electronic mail (montrul@illinois.edu) as an attachment.
