Al-Mutanabbi Street: Poetry and Art from Tragedy - Janet Sternburg

Janet Sternburg reads a poem written in the 10th century by an anonymous author, followed by her own poem entitled "Seeds".

Janet Sternburg is the author/editor of the two volumes, The Writer On Her Work, as well as author of Phantom Limb: A Memoir; Optic Nerve: Photopoems; and The Choices: A Memoir and A Story (forthcoming). Her photographs have been exhibited in solo shows in from New York to Korea and been given a portfolio in Aperture. Her theater piece, The Fifth String, will be staged this spring at New York's Cafe La Mama.
