Program Overview

The Fu Jen Catholic University Socio-Cultural Research Center was established in 1993 and offers dissertation research grants for the summer and the academic year. Fellows are expected to complete an article which may be published through the center or in some other publication. Fellows are also required to assist in surveying periodicals from China. In 1997-98 fellows received NT$16,000 a month and were permitted to rent dormitory rooms at standard rates.

The 1998-99 deadline has not yet been announced, but in 1997 the deadline was in mid-April.
