Approximately 15 fellowships of up to $8,000 each will be awarded to continuing UCLA graduate students pursuing advanced degrees in Japanese Studies. Preference will be given to those who have demonstrated competence in the Japanese language. Categories of funding include, but are not limited to, fieldwork in Japan, tuition and fees, dissertation writing support, and other research-related travels.
