Latin American Studies at UCLA
The broad range of courses with an emphasis on Latin America available at UCLA allows students enrolled in the interdisciplinary undergraduate and graduate Latin American Studies degree programs to design a course of study in consultation with Latin Americanist faculty to meet their specific interests and objectives.
The Interdepartmental Program (IDP) offers an International and Area Studies minor and bachelor focused on Latin America. A master's degree in Latin American Studies (IDP) is also offered at the graduate level, and may be combined with a joint degree in one of four professional fields: Public Health, Library and Information Science, Urban Planning, and Management.
