Honoring Armenian Genocide Remembrance Through Music

In honor of Armenian Genocide Remembrance Day, the UCLA Herb Alpert School of Music and Professor Movses Pogossian, Director of the UCLA Armenian Music Program, invite you to join the Pogossian/Manouelian Family for a livestream tribute concert. In preparation for the event, watch Danielle Segen reflect on her budding interest in Armenian music, stemming from her studies at UCLA.

IN HONOR OF ARMENIAN GENOCIDE REMEMBRANCE DAY

The UCLA Herb Alpret School of Music invites you to watch Danielle Segen from the UCLA Herb Alpret School of Music reflect on her introduction to Armenian culture through music. A UCLA Alumna, Segen was introduced to the Armenian Music Ensemble by an instructor and was later invited to join a trip to Armenian during her time at UCLA.

Later this week, Professor Movses Pogossian, Director of the Armenian Music Program, and his wife, School of Music Violin Lecturer, Varty Manoulian, and their children will perform an online concert to further recognize Armenian Genocide Remembrance Day.
