In honor of Armenian Genocide Remembrance Day, Professor Movses Pogossian, Director of the UCLA Armenian Music Program, and his wife, School of Music Violin Lecturer, Varty Manouelian, invite you to join their family for a livestream tribute concert.

IN HONOR OF ARMENIAN GENOCIDE REMEMBRANCE DAY

The Pogossian/Manouelian Family welcome you into their home to partake in an exchange of music in recognition of Armenian Genocide Remembrance Day.  Movses Pogossian is the current Director of the UCLA Armenian Music Program and a Professor of Violin, while Varty Manouelian is a distinguished LA Philharmonic violinist and a UCLA School of Music Violin Lecturer. They will be performing alongside their children, cellist Edvard Pogossian, violist Cara Pogossian, and clarinetist Anoush Pogossian, selections by Komitas, J.S. Bach, and Mozart. The set will conclude with a clarinet quintet written specifically for this occasion by Ian Krouse, Artashes Kartalyan, and Aida Shirazi.
