Judy Mitoma directs the Center for Intercultural Performance which is known for organizing the region-wide Festival of Sacred Music and the Asian Pacific Performance Exchange. Prof. Mitoma's international leadership role is widely acknowledged. In 2003 she received the John D. Rockefeller 3rd Award for her contribution to enhancing understanding of Asian arts.
