This year's forum features diverse doctoral research exploring critical themes in South Asian studies. Presentations will examine the political economy of resources and indigenous media sovereignty, the gendered politics of violence in the postcolonial state, and the complex relationship between performance, heritage, and nation-making. Spanning India and Sri Lanka, these works in progress offer fresh perspectives on cultural and political transformations.
