UCLA Center for Korean Studies & 2019 Kyungdong University Global Fully-Funded International Summer Program

The Center for Korean Studies will be selecting undergraduate students to participate in the 2019 Kyungdong University Global Fully-funded International Summer Program. Students have the opportunity to choose between one of three sessions available. Application Deadline: May 24, 2019.

The program will be conducted in English-medium and FULLY FUNDED by Kyungdong university which covers Fee, Dormitory, Airport pick up and drop off, Local transportation, and other Organizational Expenses. Airfare and other living expenses are to be borne by the participants. Students can choose to cook themselves using dormitory cooking facility or buy food at school restaurant.

 

Requirements

Candidates must hold IELTS 6 at least or be an English speaker or any other adequate proof of their English proficiency. Students must obtain short-term student visa (D-2-8_ from the nearest South Korean embassy prior to their travel.

Program details

It is not mandatory to attend all sessions. Students have the choice to attend all or some of the below sessions:

1. Session 1: July 1st~31st, 2019

  Korean Language and Culture, Site visits, Temple stays, K-pop, K-drama, Taekwondo, Kroean Cuisine, Hanbok, with a chance to travel across South Korea and be exposed to the distinct features of Korean culture and lifestyle.

 

2. Session 2: August 1st-23rd, 2019

  Korean Langauge and Culture and special lecutres in Business Administration, Hotel Management and Smart computing

 

3. Session 3: August 26~December 13, 2019

  Attending KDU Fall Semester and joining our programs such as: Business Administration, Hotel Management, and Smart Computing

 

Deadline: May 31st, 2019
