We have experienced enormous changes within the media industry over the past few years. Video viewers no longer want to sit in front of the TV as a scheduled time. Rather, people prefer to watch videos at the time and place they like. Many viewers watch video content through mobile devices and OTT (over the top) services, especially with the younger generation who watches most of their video content, even news stories, through their mobile devices. OTT services are changing the media usage behavior of the audiences as well as the production practices of creators. In addition, the media industry is entering another revolutionary period. The development of autonomous vehicles technology, AI and IoT is expected to change the media viewing pattern again. In this talk, Mr. Ho Sun Kim aims to answer the following questions: how will the media change in the future? What technologies will affect the media? And what should we prepare for?
