With the widespread use of the Internet and mobile phones and the exchange of numerous information, personal-related information is overflowing in real life. The media is releasing a lot of information that has not been sufficiently verified, citing the public's right to know. While people have the right know and freedom of expression, individuals whose privacy has been violated should be protected and respected. In this lecture, Ms. Cho will talk about the boundary between freedom of expression and defamation, discuss the legal concepts and requirements of cyber defamation, and examine whether defamation can be established through actual cases.
