UCLA CMED 13th Annual Enriching the Middle East's Economic Future Conference

The UCLA Center for Middle East Development (CMED) is proud to be in its 13th edition of the Annual Conference, Enriching the Middle East's Economic Future, in Doha, Qatar.

The annual conference, held under the auspices of the Foreign Ministry of the State of Qatar, has grown into an internationally recognized forum for government officials, business and financial practitioners, and politicians and academics dealing with current economic, financial, political, and diplomatic issues. The conference regularly attracts some 250 plus participants from 70 plus countries. Experts bring their perspectives to pressing global policy issues and Middle East concerns, while simultaneously conducting private business and interchange.

The conference has been addressed by several distinguished keynote speakers and attendees, including former U.S. President Bill Clinton, former Secretary General of the Arab League Amr Moussa, former U.S. Mideast envoy Senator George Mitchell, Nobel Peace Prize winner Tawakkol Karman, and a host of major government officials.
