Professor Julio Torres, Assistant Professor of Spanish Applied Linguistics and Director of the Spanish Language Program at UCI, invites you to participate in this K-16 community-oriented meeting. Activities include research presentations from a number of fields within linguistics and pedagogy, workshops on conducting action research in the classroom, task-based language teaching, translanguaging approaches to heritage language pedagogy, and a Creative Writing Contest.
