Nancy Soderberg worked closely with President Clinton and was an integral member of his foreign policy team throughout his presidency. Nancy served as Deputy Assistant to the President for National Security Affairs and was the third-ranking official at the National Security Council, where she chaired the Presidential Committee on Northern Ireland and played a key role in the peace negotiations. Nancy went onto become the U.S. Representative for Special Political Affairs at the United Nations holding the rank of Ambassador and a permanent seat on U.N. Security Council. She currently directs the New York office of the International Crisis Group, where she works with members of the U.N. Security Council, key member states, and multilateral organizations to develop and implement policies to contain and prevent violent conflicts around the world.
David Aaron served as Deputy National Security Advisor to President Jimmy Carter and as Ambassador to the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) in Paris for the Clinton administration. He is currently the Director of the Center for Middle East Public Policy at the RAND Corporation where he also coordinates counter-terrorism and homeland security research.
