This colloquium will discuss recent U.S. foreign policy and feature discussion among the following distinguished guests:

  • James Mann, Center for Strategic & International Studies (SAIS) and author of The Rise of the Vulcans: The History of Bush's War Cabinet.
  • John Mueller, Department of Political Science at Ohio State University and author of Overblown: How Politicians and the Terrorism Industry Inflate National Security Threats and Why We Believe Them
  • Ronald Steel, School of International Relations at USC and author of Walter Lippmann and the American Century.
