Stephen Krasner is a pioneer in the field of international relations whose research focuses on market failure and distributional conflict in international political economy, and the historical practices of sovereignty especially with regard to domestic autonomy and non-intervention.
He is currently a Professor of Political Science at Stanford University. He is also a former Director of Stanford’s Center on Democracy Development and the Rule of Law, former Deputy Director of Stanford’s Freeman Spogli Institute for International Studies, and served as the Director of Policy Planning at the US Department of State (2005 – 07).
This event is free and open to students, faculty, staff and the general public. A light lunch will be provided.
