"Syrian - U.S. Relations" with Imad Moustapha, Syrian Ambassador to the United States

Imad Moustapha is the Syrian Ambassador to the United States. He holds a PhD in Computer Science and was Dean of the Faculty of Information Technology at the University of Damascus, and Secretary General of the Arab School on Science and Technology. He is a co-founder of the Network of Syrian Scientists, Technologists and Innovators Abroad (NOSSTIA). He was also a member of the Syrian team responsible for drafting reform strategies for the ministries of Culture, Education, and Higher Education. His publications include over 200 articles, many focusing on the political scene in Washington and on US policies. He is a co-author of the UN-sponsored Human Development Report in the Arab World which has been widely quoted throughout the world.
