Fowler Exhibition Celebrates Water Spirit
The San Francisco Chronicle reported Sunday on "Mami Wata: Arts for Water Spirits in Africa and Its Diasporas," an exhibition organized by the Fowler Museum at UCLA that explores the visual cultures and histories of the water spirit Mami Wata. The exhibition is currently on display at Stanford University's Cantor Arts Center.
