Call for Papers: Fifth Annual UCLA Graduate Student Conference on Chinese Studies

Fifth Annual UCLA Graduate Student Conference on Chinese Studies will be held on May 18 & 19, 2012.

We are currently looking for papers dealing with topics involving the crossing of disciplinary, temporal, national, cultural, social, and linguistic barriers in the imagination of China. We welcome creative new approaches to the field of China studies. Papers that initiate interdisciplinary dialogues will be given particular consideration.

Please email abstracts to uclacscconference@gmail.com by March 30, 2012. Abstracts should be no more than 300 words, and should be submitted along with your name, institutional affiliation, department, title of paper, and contact information.
