Democracy and Redistribution

Our reading for next week is the introduction to 'Democracy and Redistribution' by Carles Boix. However, because the introduction is quite brief - just 18 pages - we have also posted Chapters One and Two on the web site, as (voluntary) supplemental reading. Chapter One lays out Boix's theory and is about 40 pages. Chapter Two is the empirical analysis and is about 35 pages long.
