Overview:
NC State University offers an academic summer program based in New Delhi, India. This program provides students with the opportunity to study Hindi and Indian civilization while immersed in Indian culture and language Three of the six program weeks are spent in Delhi, the vibrant political and cultural capital of India. Also included are three week-long excursions to three contrasting regions of North India: Western Uttar Pradesh (Agra, Mathura, Vrindavan, Aligarh), Rajasthan, and the Himalayas.
- New Delhi and Northern India Includes excursions to Agra, Rajasthan, and a Himalayan Pilgrimage Site
- No previous study of Hindi required
- Indian Literature and Culture course taught in English
Courses;
All students must take two courses for a total of 6 credit hours. No previous study of Hindi is required. Students may chose from either:
FLN 101 - Elementary Hindi-Urdu OR
FLN 201 - Intermediate Hindi-Urdu
