LRC Director to Give Keynote Address at Hebrew Language Teachers' Seminar

LRC director Olga Kagan will deliver the keynote address for the National Middle East Language Resource Center's third annual Teacher Education Seminar for Hebrew Language Educators, scheduled for June 26-30, 2005 at Hebrew Union College in Los Angeles. The seminar will focus on heritage language instruction and will explore topics including curriculum development, assessment, materials development, and teacher training for teaching heritage speakers of Hebrew on all levels from K-16.
 
NMELRC, which was established in 2002, is a Title VI Language Resource Center and is headquartered at Brigham Young University. Experts in Middle Eastern languages from twenty U.S. universities collaborate in NMELRC projects.
