The Burkle Center for International Relations at UCLA awards is offering up to five scholarships for the 2008-2009 academic year. These scholarships are made possible by a generous gift from Alice Belkin and are intended to support outstanding minority graduate students with studies related to the fields of globalization, world politics or international relations who are in need of financial assistance. Applicants must also demonstrate outstanding leadership skills and academic achievement. Successful applicants will receive up to $8,000. The International Institute keeps a database of funding offered by it's various centers and institutes. Funds for support of faculty research and student education are derived from government, foundation, corporate, and individual sources; many are available through generous gifts from private individual sources.
