Congressman Ted W. Lieu is currently accepting applications from college and graduate students to intern at his office. The intern sessions and deadlines are as follows: for Spring 2018 – December 1, 2017; Summer 2018 – April 19, 2018; Fall 2018 – July 13, 2018. This is a volunteer position.
The internship program gives the opportunity for college and graduate students the opportunity to learn more about the functions of the U.S. House of Representatives. Not only will interns gain invaluable experience by participating in the daily operations of the Congressional District Office, but by the end of the internship, students will be prepared to act as a Staff Assistant in a DC or District Congressional Office.
