Eric Bordenkircher

Research Fellow

Eric Bordenkircher is a researcher at the Center for Middle East Development in the UCLA International Institute and an expert on politics in Lebanon, specifically the relationships between the 18 religious communities of Lebanon and their interaction with external states.

Bordenkircher, who has spent roughly three years in the Middle East as an affiliate at the American University of Beirut’s Center for Arab and Middle East Studies and a research assistant at the Université Saint-Joseph’s Centre d’études pour le monde arabe moderne, can discuss political developments related to Lebanon, the Sunni/Shia conflict in region, the Arab/Israeli conflict and U.S. policy in the region

He his available for speaking engagements, public lectures, and media interviews on the following topics:
