Judge Halim Dhanidina, the first Muslim judge in California, will speak about his experiences as an LA Superior Court Judge. He will also speak about the challenges and opportunities facing American Muslims post 9/11.  He is a judge in the Los Angeles County Superior Court. Prior to his current position, he was a Deputy District Attorney for Los Angeles County for 14 years. As an attorney, Judge Dhanidina served as a board member for the Asian Pacific American and South Asian Bar Associations. He is currently also an adjunct professor of law at Whittier Law School.
