Renas, a middle aged Kurdish immigrant from Iraq, has carved out a simple yet pleasant life for himself in rural Norway. His driving force has been the long-awaited arrival of Fermesk, his bride-to-be who he has yet to meet. When neither Renas nor Fermesk meet each other's lofty expectations, they must discover if true love is possible.
