As`ad AbuKhalil is a professor of political science at California State University, Stanislaus and visiting professor at UC, Berkeley. He received his BA and MA from American University of Beirut, and holds a PhD in comparative politics from Georgetown University. Dr. AbuKhalil is author of: Historical Dictionary of Lebanon; Bin Laden, Islam and America's New "War on Terrorism"; and The Battle for Saudi Arabia: Royalty, Fundamentalism, and Global Power; and Al-Harb AlAmirkiyyah Ala-l-Irhab.
