Enjoy infectious vocals and rich melodic styles as master musicians perform Arab-Andalusian-Jewish and Tamazight (Berber) music from the town of Sefrou and the surrounding regions.
This event is being held in conjunction with the international conference, Islam Re-Observed: Clifford Geertz in Morocco from December 6 - 9 and the photographic exhibition Sefrou, Morocco Observed: The Photographs of Paul Hyman at the Fowler from November 28 to December 16th.
This concert will have open seating, but reservations (maximum 2 seats per reservation) are required. To make a reservation please send an email to cnes@international.ucla.edu or call (310) 825-1181.
