Amu Darya-The Iranian Journal of Central Asian Studies
The first issue of the new journal, "Amu Darya: The Iranian
Journal of Central Asian Studies," has recently been published.
This journal is published in English semi-annually by the Center for the
Study of Central Asia and the Caucasus (a branch of the Institute for
Political and International Studies, Tehran).
Editors: Abbas Maleki and Seyed Rasoul Mousavi (Director of
CSCAC).

D'etudes Sur la Mediterranee Orientale et le Monde Turco-Iranien

The French Association of the Eastern Mediterranean and the Turko-Persian
World (AFEMOTI, Paris) has been publishing Cahiers d'etudes sur la
Mediterranee orientale et le monde turco-iranien CEMOTI bi-annually
since 1986.
CEMOTI is supported by The Centre of International Researches and
Studies (CERI, Centre d'Etudes et de recherches internationales) of the
French Foundation of Political Science (FNSP, Fondation nationale des
sciences politiques) and the National Centre of Scientific Research (CNRS,
Centre national de la recherche scientifique).
The journal is edited by Dr Semih Vaner of the Centre d'Etudes et
de recherches internationales (CERI, Fondation nationale des sciences
politiques) in Paris.
The cost of a subscription is $70 for individuals, $90 for

The Caspian Report is an online magazine that focuses on
economics, business, and political relating to the following countries: Iran, Turkey,
Russia, Azerbaijan, Armenia, Georgia, Turkmenistan, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan and Tajikistan.

Central
Asia Monitor
Covering the Central Asian states since their independence, CAM focuses
particularly on politics, economics, legal and constitutional developments, the
environment, human rights, media and the building of civil societies. Each issue includes
a summary of significant recent events in the area. Coming out every two months, CAM
combines the advantages of a scholarly periodical with those of a short-lead time news
magazine; in this regard CAM is unique in its field.

Central Asian Survey
Central Asian Survey is the only established journal in the world concerned
primarily with the history, politics, cultures, religions and economics of the Central
Asian and Caucasian regions. These include those territories and predominantly Muslim
Irano-Turkic populations from western China to western Anatolia sharing a common
historical, ethnic, cultural and linguistic heritage and in some cases communist
experience. Foremost among these are the republics of former Soviet Central Asia,
Azerbaijan, Crimea, and the Muslim Ibero-Caucasian and Turkic peoples of the North
Caucasus, Middle Volga and Urals whose territories are included in the Russian Federation.
Also covered are Chinese Xinjiang, Afghanistan, Iran, Turkey, Armenia and Georgia.
Published four times a year.

IJCAS publishes papers on the linguistics, literature, culture,
history, archeology and sociology of Central Asia. The submissions may be
