Part-time LinguistsOverture Services (www.overture.com) is looking for a two lexicographers or linguists to help with a 4 week project developing rules and datasets for traditional and simplified Chinese search engines. The rules and datasets include components such as stopwords, prefix stripping rules, and mapping plurals and misspellings to a singular, correctly spelled form.
The hourly rate is $25-35, depending on experience, and the project will involve approximately 100 hours of work in total. Work starts immediately.
The ideal candidate will:
- be a native speaker familiar with the colloquialisms and popular culture of China and/or Taiwan
