Miller Center Fellowships in Public Affairs
The Miller Center of Public Affairs at the University of Virginia invites applications for Miller Center Fellowships in Contemporary Politics, Policy, and Political History. The Miller Center is a nonpartisan research institute dedicated to the study of the national and international policies of the United States, past, present, and future with an emphasis on both the substance and process of national policymaking. Decisions will be announced by April 2002. The Miller Center is an equal opportunity employer.
Applicants must be 1) a Ph.D. candidate who is expecting to complete his or her dissertation by the conclusion of the fellowship year; or 2) an independent scholar working on a book. This is not a post-doctoral fellowship.
This competitive program provides ten separate grants of up to $15,000 each to support fellows for one year of research and writing.
February 1, 2002 - applications must be postmarked by this date.
