Shlomo Aronson is an Associate Professor of Political Science at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem and is currently the Schusterman Visiting Scholar at the Center for Judaic Studies at the University of Arizona. His research interests include the Holocaust as a no-way-out situation; a "quadruple trap," and its impact on contemporary Israeli history and politics; Israeli foreign and security policies, particularly regarding nuclear weapons, in connection with Arab and Iranian proliferation efforts and American policy, and the connection between domestic and foreign affairs. His publications include Israel's Nuclear Programme, the Six Day War and its Ramifications and David Ben-Gurion, the Renaissance Leader and the Waning of an Age, among many others.
