Dr. Yehiel Kaplan is a senior lecturer at Haifa University, Faculty of Law. Dr. Kaplan teaches and writes about Jewish Law and Family Law. His article, The Power of Interpretation: Religious Scholars Elevate the Status of Female Guardians in Jewish Law, was recently published in the Cardozo Journal of Law and Gender.
