Terasaki Postdoctoral Fellowship in Japanese StudiesThe UCLA Terasaki Center for Japanese Studies invites applications for a 1-year postdoctoral position, for the 2013-14 academic year. The fellow will be expected to teach a one-quarter undergraduate course and present one public lecture while in residence, and to participate actively in Center colloquia and other public programs during the fellowship year. The Center welcomes applications from around the world. Applicants must have a Ph.D. degree from an accredited university in hand by May 27, 2013, but have earned it no earlier than January 1, 2009 to be considered for the 2013-14 fellowship year. The application materials must be received by the Center office by March 1, 2013. Please note the office closes at 5 PM.
The selection committee will evaluate applications on the basis of: This is a paid position with health coverage and research stipend provided. Office space, and access to a computer, the UC library system, and other facilities available to members of the UCLA community will also be provided.
