Funding Opportunities at the Latin American Institute
2010 Public Lecture Grants
Open to faculty from all UCLA departments and schools.
The LAI will award up to $1,000 to invite speakers to give public lectures on Latin American topics. Preference will be given to proposals that include matching funds from other academic units. Funds may be used for travel, per diem, or honoraria, but may not be used for food or entertainment. Applications must include a brief description of the proposed activity, a detailed budget (including matching funds), and a description of the proposed speaker’s qualifications.
Application deadline is Monday, December 30, 2009.
