Latin American Studies at UCLA

The broad range of courses with an emphasis on Latin America available at UCLA permits students enrolled in the interdisciplinary undergraduate and graduate Latin American Studies degree programs to design a course of study in consultation with Latin Americanist faculty to meet their specific interests and objectives.

The Latin American Studies degree programs include a bachelor of arts and five interdisciplinary master's degree options. Students may work toward an M.A. in Latin American Studies or combine the interdisciplinary area studies M.A. with a master's degree in a professional field.
