The State of Assessment of Heritage Language Learners

The NHLRC is partnering with the Center for Applied Linguistics to convene an invitational conference of experts to produce guidelines for assessments of heritage language speakers. The aim will be to develop a template for the construction of assessments and classroom observation rubrics for use by teachers to determine student language use and proficiency.
